Enjoy Matchplays at Heron Tennis, Newquay

At Heron Tennis & Ace Academy (Newquay), like many other clubs, we believe that playing matches is a vital and integral part of a player’s development and goes hand in hand with any coaching the children are receiving. It is also FUN and we encourage all players to experience and enjoy friendly appropriate competition on a regular basis.

Many of the mini-tennis matchplay events are part of the exciting Flybe Leaderboard Series where players earn points for playing and winning matches, just like the top professionals.

To take part in competitions players are required to be British Tennis Members. This gives players a “Rating” and offers several other tennis related benefits as well.
