It's All Action and Awards at Heron's Christmas Parties!

Christmas jeer was in the air last Saturday when the Heron Tennis Centre celebrated Christmas and our tennis successes in 2017.

Over 65 young players came to Heron when the youngest enjoyed indoor fun with coaches Paul, Steve G, Jon, assistant coaches Tim and Andrea, plus older junior helpers Tomas and Elijah. Those aged between 9-14 played tennis and other sports games outside like American football, tennis cricket and football with coaches Matt, Steve A, assistant coaches Josh, Leigh, Toby and Morgan.

Then everyone moved inside for the annual awards. Young Heron player Max Caddis, who has recently given a TED Talk on dyslexia (you can find it on YouTube), helped coach Steve A give a review of the year's junior successes and presented prizes and trophies.
