Josh Burt - Cornwall Disability Tennis Network Co-ordinator and Ace Coach

Josh grew up in Newquay and began playing and being coached at Heron as a junior. He had his coaching apprenticeship at Heron before moving to coach full-time at David Lloyd, Cardiff. We welcomed Josh back to the coaching team in 2020.

Roles: Leads the Cornwall Disability Tennis Network Programme, which is based at Heron, and provides his coaching services to our junior and adult coaching programmes.

Achievements include:

• LTA Accredited+ Level 3 coach

• Played in the National Special Olympics winning Gold in singles and Bronze in doubles

• South-west team coach at the National Specil Olympics

• Plays for Heron Men's B Team

In his free time: plays football for St Mawgan FC and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
